Aeroflot to join SkyTeam alliance
THE RUSSIAN airline Aeroflot is to join the SkyTeam alliance led by Air France and Delta Air Lines of the US. The decision, taken yesterday by the alliance's steering committee, is subject to the approval of the Russian government and to Aeroflot meeting the required quality standards. Aeroflot operates to 108 destinations in 54 countries. SkyTeam's other members are Alitalia, Aeromexico, Czech Airlines and Korean Air.
