MiG sells 16 aircraft to India
The Russian aircraft manufacturing corporation MiG has signed a $700m contract on supplies of 16 MiG-29K carrier-based fighters within the framework of the Russian-Indian deal on transferring and equipping the aircraft carrier Admiral Gorshkov to India. According to the contract, the corporation will supply 12 one-seat and 4 two-seat fighters by 2007 to 2008, the press service of MiG reported to RBC. The contract envisages an option for supplies of another 30 aircraft by 2015.
