16 December 2003 20:40 Consumer prices forecast to rise 1%-1.2% in Dec (Part 2) MOSCOW. Dec 16 (Interfax) - Russia will see inflation of 1%-1.2% in December, said Arkady Dvorkovich, a deputy
economic development and trade minister.
"The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade forecasts that, judging by the first ten days of December,
inflation for the month as a whole will be 1.1%, give or take 0.1%," Dvorkovich said.
"There is a risk" that inflation will exceed 1.2%, but that risk is "not high," Dvorkovich
said.
"Thus, inflation this year as a whole will likely be 12% [as the government plans]," Dvorkovich said. [RU
