11 December 2003 18:51 Russian oil pipeline operator overtakes last year`s profits Moscow, 11 December: The consolidated net profit of Russia's state oil pipeline monopoly Transneft, as
calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), rose to R26,885m in January-September from R26,109m for the whole
of 2002, a company official told Prime-TASS [on] Thursday [11 December]. Earlier the company said its consolidated net
profit in January-September 2002 was at R17,981m. The pre-tax profit for this year's January-September was at
R36,983m, up from R34,838m for the whole of 2002, the official said. Earlier, the company posted January-September 2002
pre-tax profit at R25,338m. The company's sales revenues stood at R99,174m in January-September, up from R100,773m
