OLY: Rogge to visit Australia
SYDNEY, Nov 21 AAP - Olympic supremo Jacques Rogge will visit Australia next month, his first official visit here since being elected IOC President in Moscow last year. His visit to the Oceania Region will include a stopover in Perth to attend the Women's Hockey World Cup. Rogge will also travel to Melbourne to attend a reception hosted by IOC Vice President Kevan Gosper, AOC President and IOC member John Coates and prominent businessman Richard Pratt and his wife Jeanne. The reception will be held at the Pratt's home Raheen and will be attended by Olympians, national sporting officials, Olympic sponsors and friends. His visit will follow on closely from the IOC Session in Mexico City where he will have reviewed the IOC's Reform Program and presided over proposed changes to the Olympic Program. AAP mw
