China Gas seeks role in natural gas project in Fujian
Author: China Gas Holdings Ltd is in talks to play a role in a natural gas project in Fujian Province, managing
director Liu Ming Hui said. He also said the company plans to explore the feasibility of channeling piped natural gas to
Northeast China from Russia. Meanwhile, the company also announced on November 12 a plan to raise HK$134.40 million
(US$17.31 million) through a new-for-old placement of 160 million shares at HK$0.84 (US$0.11) each. Liu said the company
will, after the completion of the share placement, have cash in hand of about HK$200 million (US$25.76 million),
adequate to support its development for now.
