India, Russia to cooperate on moon flights
Moscow, 12 November: Russia and India are planning to work together in preparation for flights to the moon, says a memorandum of mutual understanding between the Russian Aerospace Agency and the Indian Space Research Organization signed at the close of today's talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee. The memorandum on cooperation in research and exploitation of space for peaceful purposes also notes the need for joint work on developing navigation and other systems for space craft.
