28 September 2003 18:49 Putin, Kadyrov discuss Chechnya`s economic recovery MOSCOW. Sept 28 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chechen administration chief Akhmad Kadyrov have
discussed Chechnya's economic recovery and the first stage in compensation payments to be made to Chechen residents
for their lost housing and property.
The talks were held on board the plane to Moscow from the U.S. following Putin's five-day visit to that country,
Putin's spokesman Alexei Gromov has told Interfax.
