Putin approves name change for Siberian oil-producing region
Moscow, 28 July: Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree, incorporating the new name of Khanty-Mansi [Autonomous] Area in the constitution of the Russian Federation. It will now be called the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area - Yugra. The head of state's press service announced this today.
