REMINDER/Grand Rapids-Area Children to Audition for Moscow Ballet; Comerica Sponsors West Michigan Appearance of One of the World's Leading Ballet Companies
WHAT: Grand Rapids-area children have a once-in-a-lifetime chance to audition for the world-renown Moscow Ballet. The company will appear in Grand Rapids November 3 for a performance of the Nutcracker. Local children are needed to fill key roles in this holiday classic. At the open audition, children can strut their stuff under the watchful eye of the world's most accomplished dancers. WHEN and WHERE: September 19, 4 PM River Town Crossings, 3700 RiverTown Parkway WHO: More than 60 local youngsters are expected to audition for roles such as mice, angels and snowflakes. Culled from local dance studios and classes, these children, ages 8 - 16, will do their best to dazzle the visiting troupe from the Moscow Ballet.
