BASF GROUP: New Heliogen pigments from BASF for solvent packaging inks
Excellent viscosity, gloss and transparency BASF, a leading manufacturer of phthalocyanine pigments, extends its
product line with two new pigments for packaging inks.
In order to comply with the stringent requirements regarding color, rheology, gloss and transparency in solvent
packaging inks, customized pigments need to be developed. Heliogen Green D 8725 (P.G.7) is particularly suited for
nitrocellulose-based systems. Heliogen Blue D 7107 (P.B.15:4) displays excellent performance in solvent packaging
inks.
