30 June 2003 08:26 Russian premier allots portfolios among his deputies Moscow, 30 June: Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov has authorized a redistribution of duties among his
deputies, the department of government information told reporters today.
Under this document, [former St Petersburg governor] Vladimir Yakovlev, the new deputy prime minister, has been put
in charge of regional development, local self-government, architecture and construction, urban development, housing
policy, housing and utilities reforms, transport policy, and the development of mortgage system.
